COMMUNITY & SUSTAINABILITY
United Way 2011 Horizontal.jpg

“BF Workplace has been a committed supporter of the United Way of Winnipeg since our inception. The United Way helps all sectors of our society, rich, poor, high and low. It gives well managed independent agencies funding and counsel, which enables them to provide services and support that can’t be obtained any other way in our community.

As such, BF has been a United Way Pace Setter company and a vocal supporter for over twenty years, completing our own in house donation campaign every year well in advance of the official city-wide kickoff. We pride ourselves on achieving 100% participation by all our employees. Members of our team have been on the United Way Campaign cabinet. We share the United way’s passion for making lives in Manitoba better.”

In the Fall of 2017 BF assisted TPM’s presentation of Tomorrow’s Child from Ghost River Theatre – an immersive audio experience created for a blindfolded audience. BF provided 70 Steelcase task chairs, which enabled the patrons to safely and comfortably experience the play, rotating in any direction and adjusting their seat settings to their own taste to enjoy this award-winning production.”   Rea Kavanagh –General Manager, Theatre Projects Manitoba.
